The Mensch of the Month Calendar raised over $2200 for the Smart Foundation! As 2012 really kicks in, we are now requesting photos of the calendars in the wild! (Send in a photo of you and your calendar.) Below are pictures from the launch party at Shotwell's back in December where the calendars sold out!

Campaign/Imagery concepting is perhaps the most fun part of the branding process. Bucketing imagery styles, pin pointing your look and feel, and seeing where your vision fits in the landscape of the current market are all necessary steps before finding a photographer, location, models and finally shooting. There is never enough room, so I almost always spends days working on the floor! Below is a peak into the process for a campaign that shot this past winter. By the way, it turned out great!

I feel really lucky to have such amazing and talented friends. This past fall I spent some time back in my old stomping ground- NYC! Beyond getting to visit some inspiring exhibits and walking through the fall leaves in Central Park, the real bonus was getting to watch my friend, Paolo Rivera, create the next Dare Devil comic for Marvel. If you want a piece of comic history, you can even purchase page sketches from Paolo or other Marvel illustrators! Process shot below.
